Based on latest, Plugfest should be fine. It's getting home afterwards thru sunday that looks nasty.

Saturday Night
Late afternoon flurries then full snow develops. Turning heavy and steady esp. after midnight. Winds increase. Winds: NE 10-25+ mph. Lows: 17-26.

Sunday
Nor'easter! Near blizzard conditions early? Tapering by afternoon. Winds: NE to NW 20-30+ mph. Highs: 21-32.

With the easy winter we've had so far odds are we will get hammered before the end of winter. This one could be it.. On the other hand it is usually flurries that have the schools closed for a week....

Winter Storm Watch almost everywhere and Blizzard Watch along the CT coast. They better not drop the ball on this one, putting up a Blizzard Watch is pretty serious. The last time the map looked like this the Nor'Easter of '05 was bearing down on us.

Food shopping day was last night for me. Well timed, as paniced sheeple will probably be out in force today and tomorrow.

I'm kind of looking foward to some snow. On the coast we haven't really seen more then an inch so far this year.

That reminds me. What happened to Todd Gross anyway? Why is he out as Chan 7's Chief Meteorologist and Pete Bouchard in? I went to ToddGross.com to find out. I followed the links to the "Support" thingy message board, but it said had to have Yahoo account to get in there and read the 1000+ messages posted in December (I assume they explain what happened). I had the Missus put in her Yahoo name, and next thing ya know, her Yahoo mailbox is stuffed full o' crap. Nvere pursued it further.

Well, we have food in the house, plenty of firewood, some wine, gas in the cars, and nowhere special to go tomorrow or Monday. And a neighborhood full of kids, and hopefully one or two who would like to make a fast 20 for shoveling ;)

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow :bl:

I don't know about where your new house is but in my neighborhoods , kids apparently don't shovel or mow lawns anymore. They all drive nicer cars than me and I never even see them cutting their own lawns , mush less hustling around to make some money.

Anyway , I
m preparing the same way. plenty of everything in the house by shopping today and if its bad , I'll stay home and watch John Wayne reruns tomorrow! :)

I have to be in Nashua by 10 am tomorrow; I'll be in the belly of the beast. Gonna leave here about 7:45, that'll give me time enough to go 20 mph if I need to.
Got a full tank in the Avalanche and gonna get a good night sleep.
Plan is to run the restaurant with 1 bartender, two waistaff, and nobody in the kitchen (including dishwashers!!!0.
Just spent like two hours in local gracery stores...you'd think is was Armageddon tomorrow!
Oh well, later.
