Anyone have experience with the owner sea bullet jigheads? I plan on fishing 7 1/2" and 9" sluggos off Monomoy this year and they look like a good pairing but are a bit pricey. Any other recommendations?

Little Round 02-25-2006, 10:21 PM The OWNER jig heads that are pretty nice are the ULTRAHEAD-Saltwater bullet. They are in OWNERS 2006 Catolog and go in pks of 3 for $6. THe sled heads are the other jig head I would go with from OWNER. THe bullet heads they don't make in that heavy of sizes (3/16) was the heaviest I saw, and I think it is freshwater. kippy 02-26-2006, 08:22 AM I saw them in 1 oz and 1 1/2 oz sizes. I might just go with those. Got Stripers 02-26-2006, 10:48 AM I have a decent supply of the Owner 1-1/2 oz and also the Kalin in 1-1/8 oz both nice heads, the Kalin also uses the Owner hook. PM me if your interested in quantity and I can dig through my stock. Little Round 02-26-2006, 10:56 AM If you were going to use 9" Sluggo's you might want to consider the Kalin's Big'n Jigs too. They make a 3, 6, 8 oz that could really get them down if you were fishing out in front of Chatham, and wanted to get them down in 100+ ft of water. The hooks are a little big, but they might match up to the 9" fine. Just a thought. kippy 02-27-2006, 06:42 AM I have a decent supply of the Owner 1-1/2 oz and also the Kalin in 1-1/8 oz both nice heads, the Kalin also uses the Owner hook.
