View Full Version : JohnR says...."Your Fired"
Goose 02-28-2006, 09:49 AM I think there are mixed feelings about reality tv, personely I like it. Survivor, Idol, The Apprentice I enjoy.
Do you think its possible to have a fishing reality show setup as The Apprentice? It could be done on any scale US, east coast or just the S-B site.
example: JohnR would play the part of Donanld Trump....lol. John would play Trump and he would a sign two 10 man teams. ect. ect.
The first task being easiest maybe the team who could catch the most scup or snapper blues or choggies. After every round the team with the least amount of fish ofcourse would lose a team member.
The tasks would become more difficult after each board meeting. Anglers would need to catch bass *in the ditch with jigs only*beach with plugs only * boat no more then 200 yrds from shore.... ect. ect.
If there was such a show would you tune in?
Winter has taken its toll on me. :smash:  :smash:
Cool, I would want to be on Clammers team when it came time to catch blues:btu:
Clammer 02-28-2006, 10:03 AM YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU HAVE TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH F #$%^&*( TIME ON YOUR HANDS/HEAD :uhoh:
Saltheart 02-28-2006, 10:47 AM Say a prayer for Goose , he's losing it ! :)
spence 02-28-2006, 10:58 AM For the most part reality TV is pretty mindless, not much value.
Trump's show has some, if you pay attention there's some business basics...but it's still pretty lame.

JohnR 02-28-2006, 10:59 AM The title of the show might be "Shut Up and Fish" :hihi:

Raven 02-28-2006, 11:33 AM thats why i watch it....
Goose 02-28-2006, 11:42 AM I can't beleive what I'm reading. Maybe its not Saltheart's 'Cat in the Hat' analogy (which I realy like by the way) but com'on. In the words of Carmen(from south park)....."screw you guys" if you don't like my idea. I'm takeing this right to the top(where ever it may be) I guessing its ESPN or OLN even Fox would snatch this up in a heart beat. If you wanna be rich I suggest you put your application in.:rude:
Swimmer 02-28-2006, 11:43 AM THE SHOW COULD BE A LITTLE SPRINGERESQUE :humpty: , WITH ALL THE UNINQUE PEOPLE HERE, OR IT COULD BE LIKE SURVIVOR.....FISH OR DIE YOU DIRTY RAT:buds: :liquify:
kippy 02-28-2006, 12:13 PM I would definitely watch it, seems like a great concept. Clammah should be the host!:hee:
The Iceman 6 02-28-2006, 01:09 PM Or maybe add a Fear Factor spin to it: Contenstant would have to fish off one of the RI Breachways during a Noreaster with a full-moon and would have to land a fish. Now that would be funny..

I think you should try "King of the Rock" Eveyone one trys to stand on one rock while everyone else tries to push 'em off. The X Factor is that Clammer goes in with his boat at random times and tries to knock everyone off... :hee:
Goose 02-28-2006, 02:15 PM You know the old clammer saying...."you ain't ran aground, you ain't been around"
Redsoxticket 02-28-2006, 03:41 PM Clammer can go around with his boat clipping fishing lines.
striprman 03-01-2006, 12:58 AM I'd like to see a show, where a guy catches a fish, measures and weighs it...then see what he tells his friends about it....
What clammer says.!@#$%^&*
Raven 03-01-2006, 07:50 AM I'd like to see a show, where a guy catches a fish, measures and weighs it...then see what he tells his friends about it....
or they (the fisherman) could only measure length and girth
and let the audience GUESS the weight to recieve a prize from
the sponsers.
Pt.JudeJoe 03-01-2006, 09:09 AM Yeah and then we could get Martha Stewart to cook them!
JohnR 03-01-2006, 09:44 AM You know the old clammer saying...."you ain't ran aground, you ain't been around"
I thought it was "If there is no hole in your hull, you're a //%%^:af: sissy *#:poke://// and your not fishin' // hard enuff!!?????//// "
shadow 03-01-2006, 05:24 PM I think this spring there is going to be be a show on espn called guide house, they take a bunch of guides from the mecca and put them in one house.
