A Salt has a smaller profile and 2 hooks casts further.
The B16A has 3 hooks is longer and wider.

The A salt pradco's attempt of yo-zori-ing a great plastic lure design. the lip is turned up so it will swim a little deeper 2-4 ft.I fish the classic bombers painstaking slow to keep em on top.Thats Jersey style. The more turned down lip of the old model helps in doing this.

does anyone load the A-Salts? seeing that It is kinda hard to cast 1oz.

IMO they cast decent for a 1 0z. plastic swimmer. Also at a slow retrieve they stay pretty close if not right on the surface. The way the body is designed I wouldn't consider them to be an ideal canidate for loading. It consists of 3 chambers. The larger middle one is empty and the two on either end each have two balls in them to aid with casting. If you shake the plug on the surface when it's calm the balls rattle and it can cause vicious strikes.

I haven't fish the standard bomber much because I've done so well with the A-salt.

Loading an A-salt wrecks the action. They cast twice as far as some plastics that weight twice as much. Its one of the few "cheap" plastics
that are great right out of the package.

luds, Ill often shake them on the surface then pull em under, they just crush the thing. Ive never had a problem casting even in heave wind/surf. And I too have caught my largest bass to date on the blurple a-salt. Never leave home with out one! (Or a few) :)

any minnow plug in wind not full behind you are tough .... best for me is sidearm close to the surface wicked sharp snap cast playing the angle of the wind

Vogt gave me one of his Blurple A-salts one night, I caught so many bass in that one trip they scraped the finish off it. No exaggeration.
