Just saw a clip on the news saying the Bruins traded Sergei Samsanoff to Edmonton for two players and a draft pick. Please God tell me they are going to hold onto Patrice Bergeron.

I figured there would be more of a fire sale with the UFAs based on the way they are scraping the bottom of the standings.

Send Leetch back to the Rangers. Send Gill anywhere. Try to get something for Boynton.

Just hold on to PJ Axelsson.

Bergeron's not going anywhere. He's young and cheap, just what the B's like. I don't think this deal is going to help the team, just another desperate move by O'Connell.

what the b's desperately need is a head transplant ie: new ownership and management. i miss old school hockey- remember when it was a contact sport? now if someone tugs on an opposing players skirt- it's a penalty.

samsonov was gonna walk at the end of the season anyway. they got what they could for him. this team was going nowhere fast with or without samsonov, who has been a disaster this year. this team needs to completely retool. not just players but management and ownership 2. they are a disgrace, they are the equivalent of the pre-kraft patriots.

Un freakin real, this is a team that was supposed to be in the best shape coming into this season.
Sinden has been around about 15 years to long.
Jacobs should just sell the team the Bruins SUCK.

I yearn for late 60's early 70's hockey. Never been the same. Pseudohockey. Give me the college game. F the pro's.

This move is no loss!!!
The guy was going to walk after the season was over !
The guy has been injured a LOT and was going to be looking for HUGE $$$
Not worth spending the money for a guy who missewd over 100 games in the past season !
