Machetes have been illegal in NY State for years. In fact, in New York City, it's illegal to possess any knife with a blade longer than 4" in a public place, except for fishing or hunting (assuming there's a legal place to hunt anywhere in the City).

You can go to Walmart and walk out with a Machette no questions asked! They sell 'em right in the sporting goods department from the rack. Grab one off the rack, take it to the cash register and you got a big ole' machette.

K-Mart to, This state/country is going overboard with all ther fees and licenses. When is it going to stop no wonder no one can get a head these days.
