View Full Version : If You Had Only One Lure??????
STRIPER77 04-07-2002, 02:25 AM It's not eeling time!! It's between(1 hour before) sunrise and sunset(1 hour after). Only one lure--No teasers, etc. What would your choice be?????? :ss: The month doesn't matter either. If the MAN upstairs plopped you down on the beach and said "Catch ME a striper!"---------What lure (Not bait)would be your choice???

Rich R 04-07-2002, 08:20 PM Chartreuse Mark Sosin Bomber. Dicontinued for a few years now but my best daytime lure for bass. Gotta love them at $2.50 at Sports Authority too. I got a box of 'em!
mikecc 04-07-2002, 09:39 PM another vote for a bucktail jig and curl tail grub.
STRIPER77 04-08-2002, 01:25 AM I posted it out of curiosity---but I have to agree with the majority. A white bucktail jig with some plastic . But now that's gonna be working in my head. If most people throw them, then maybe the other lures mentioned would be a better choice????
JohnR 04-08-2002, 06:26 AM Nahhh - doesn't make much difference how often other people throw a bucktail jig...
I read this as night fishing using other than eels, need to remind myself to "RTFM" (Geek Speak ;) )... but yes, the overwhelmingly used for all fish anywhere would be the white bucktail jig :smash: :D
A 7" Berkley Arkansas Shad softy......!
fishsmith 04-08-2002, 02:46 PM A Kastmaster,
