Squid kids Dad 03-17-2006, 09:38 PM Gotta be a Dodge.... labrax 03-17-2006, 09:46 PM Was everything else on the exterior body destroyed? Was the interior damaged or salvagable? I know next to nothing about auto body repair, but that repair job looks like it is going to cost some serious dough to get it looking and driving like new again. Would it have had to have the engine damaged before the insurance company considered it 'totaled'? Please post some pictures as you go through the build - I know I'd find it interesting to see how it progresses over time. Squid kids Dad 03-17-2006, 09:53 PM Labrax..Most times when exterior panels ar damaged it is neccesary to remove the interior trim to prevent further damage during repairs...Welding ect can damage them...That particular truck is probally a 4x4 and worth some $'s... Diamond Tackle 03-17-2006, 11:17 PM Hemis are for sissies, not enough torque. If its not a 2500 or 3500 DODGE CUMMINS, its a sissy truck. :musc: :fishslap: BigBo 03-17-2006, 11:26 PM There's no way I'd rather see a Dodge Ram.:rotfl: Never again.:hang: :wall: UserRemoved1 03-18-2006, 05:00 AM One of my customers just bought a brand new 2500 Dodge like that and it got front ended on the corner of the plow 3 days later...ruined the frame...for $10k they did a COMPLETE frame replacement and gave him back his truck  THAT is ALOT of work. Blows my mind that some of this stuff isn't scrapped anymore. With the prices of cars and trucks the insurance will pay to fix just about anything. Backbeach Jake 03-18-2006, 07:01 AM I've had customers come in to see their vehicles and burst into tears when they did. I don't feel good about those jobs. This job dosen't bother me at all ! just another job ! I've got less than 2 days into the job, and have 1/2 or 1 day left to put a roof on it, then give it to the painters and it should be all back together mid next week. Here is another pic of where it stood at the end of the 2nd day! Backbeach Jake 03-18-2006, 07:01 PM Man! You're flying!
