Tried Shell Point yesterday after lunch , wind blowing like hell nothing doing. This afternoon nicer but same results -dead low doesn't help either. No bait seen.
On to hopefully better results this weekend.

Just tried there this morning about an hour before high incoming cloudy nobody tring but me no hits. I took a water tempature reading and it was 51-52 along the shoreline with south west wind pushing surface water to my feet. I am sure its a little cooler out a ways. Soon.....

I had a small (4" ?) yo zuri swimmer I just picked up at ocean state in black and silver that I tried a little while then switched to a zoom fluke in a clear whitish color with a small kalin jig head. As far as the tempature I took that with an orvis stream thermometer on a four foot tether I throw in the water while I was casting.

JIGS JIGS JIGS!!! Small bucktail jigs -n- teasers or soft plastics like Queen Cocahoes & the stuff GS pours. That stuiff typically works for me a couple weeks before anything else... I used to alternate between the WW and then Shell Point a lot...

John, try those Storm wildeyes. They inhale them. :)
then when those slow change over to jerkbaits, then back to those shads. castmasters work well too.
