Skitterpop 03-29-2006, 08:01 AM From shore.... I would put a egg sinker up front just ahead of a 7/0 to 8/0 bait hook coming out the top on a heavy mono leader and have the weight secured in place somehow. Swim and twitch and pause. Sgt_Nutz 03-29-2006, 08:33 AM I couldnt resist and picked up some of those myself. Am trying to think of a way to rig them. They definately need some weight and insert weights would seem to take away from the appearence. Tandem hooks or a single in the head or in the tentacles like a tube? If Tsunami or Storm made some of these pre-rigged and weighted like their other baits...... Flaptail 03-29-2006, 08:35 AM I made a spreader bar last year out of the purple/pink ones for SBFT. It wasn't in the water 3 minutes before the first tuna took it. The only thing wrong with them is that you have to super glue the eyes in palce as they fall out. Other than that they are the balls for sbft trolling. Skitterpop 03-29-2006, 08:44 AM I couldnt resist and picked up some of those myself. Am trying to think of a way to rig them. Large single bait hook In the end that is flared which goes 1st when they swim....seems bass hit this end first...you could put a swivel just ahead of egg sinker and hook or toothpick jammed and glued. Thanks for the tip on the eyes Flaptail! Christian 03-29-2006, 04:21 PM shove a nite-n-gale inside??? kippy 03-29-2006, 04:29 PM From shore....
