We are now booking early season bass trips for mid May on! (allong with full and shared boat cod trips )
Starting mid to late May, the mackeral show up in the harbor and allong with the macs are some of the biggest bass caught of the season!
We jig up the macs for the live well for live lining, but it is common to jig up market size cod also!
We expect them to show up a bit early this year with the warm winter we had,
but typicaly starting Memorial day weekend thru late June, 30 - 40 lb bass are caught on a daily basis, and every year there are some 50s caught !!!:D
