Have to have one of our dogs put down... f'ng blows.

She is only 6 or 7. Glaucoma in both eyes. She's been on $$$ medication for about a year. Now that ain't working. She's almost blind. Only options are various surgeries. Made the decission last night on what to do. Can't see keeping her around just for our sake.

I'll tell you what, this ain't easy.

Goin to the show on saturday with my husband, and then headin down to the cape with all my boys on sunday!

I may work some overtime or I may go to the show. I'm not sure. Definately have to wash and wax the boat though.

Going to chatham, picking up my boat I hope with a brand new Honda 150 on the back and a bunch of other goodies as well. May try to cast a couple plugs in a creek by my house because I just can't wait any longer. Bringing the GF so probably some nice dinners while we are there.

At this point I'm leaning against the show since I need nothing , it would just be to socialize (not a bad thing) so I'm not sure. May get an inpulse to go at the last minute.

Back is much better but can't do any yard work yet , even though there's plenty needed.

gonna try for some trout this afternoon, then heading up to PI tomorrow to hit surfland and maybe try out some new equipment, go after some holdovers, maybe hit the flea market thing in Newbury. Then on Sunday, I'm off to Palm Springs for a work conference, the bad news, I don't golf and it's the flippin' desert so there is not much fishing! oh well, at least it will be warm!

Meeting up with some buddies tonight. Sat I'll do some hungover yard work. Sunday do some more work. :cputin:

Hardest decision I ever made.Just remember ,it's not for you;but for her.She'll be waiting for you in doggie heaven.It's been a year since I put down Angus(worlds best dog ever)and I am proud to have been his best friend and glad I had enough courage to hold him as he fell asleep.I miss you boy.

This will be the first saturday i have taken off of work in about 5 months- going up to RISAA to make my rounds with goosefish.

Opening the shop for the season . will be closed on Mondays for now

No it's not easy. Been there and done that. Tough duty. She'll be better off and so will you. It's a tough job, doing the right thing.
