Dad can you make a bat for me? These words from my son. He figures since I'm spinning plugs why not a bat. From rough dry ash and 3hrs. work. Now if I only could thru- wire this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got a nephew who is a little NIB.
At 3 1/2 yrs old he hits overhand pitching. As many as u can thro.we got a five gallon can o balls an he just doesn't stop.an u better have glove to protect urself.I would love to make him a bat.

thought you couldn't use wood in the little leagues Scott,for safety reasons,or is it just down my way

No wood in little league for safety, but I hear discussions about banning aluminum from college ball for safety? Higher velocity off aluminum, what are they worried about, the bat shattering??

Scott. Thanks for the maple offer. My son wants me to copy a maple bat he has. The barrel is 25/8" at the top with a slow progressive taper to the neck then to the handle. That barrel size is max in the twilight league. I will do this one in ash. If we like I will contact you about the maple. Nice talking to you @ the RISSA show.
