Special thanks for the crew of Francis fleet out of Point Jude who made Friday trip a lot of fun.Nothing great ,mostly market cod but a lot of action.Donated mine to the old-timer fishing next to me,reminded me of my late grandfather so much,it was eerie.I tried to pass out in afternoon in the hotel in Warwick but could not so I took a ride to foxwoods.Half an hour later I walked out with 1k in my pocket.Walked :walk: might not a proper term ,ran to my truck :rotf2:

Saturday was something else.Show is truly tremendous but stuff alone would mean nothing without the people behind the products.Zach Harvey from The Fisherman ,pleasure meeting you.Met PeteG from saltwatersedge:wave: ,a gentleman in every sense of the word. His shop will get my online orders first ,regardless of a price, that's how impressed I was.Don  from Afterhours lure ,another gem of a man with some impressive looking plugs. This is the first time I got to actually touch his stuff and I must say the finish on his plugs looked and felt as good or better than any other plugs at the show. Finally got to put name to the faces with salty, habs and tattoo.Big Water had some great big pikes while Kadir had some impressive new aquaskinz products.Missed MAC by few minutes but did ran into trowingtimber and a flaptail .Flap ,it was a pleasure chatting with you.You are even more impressive in person than on line.Notorious NIB ,nice to see you again as it was the with the whole Jersey contingent that was there.Bunch of buddies from NY made a show even more fun.Hanging with the beachmaster was like going back in time while he dished out the stories of working along side Danny Pinchney as an apprentice. The most impressive product ? I must say I am partial to what I know but I loved new Gag's Original Danny Pinchney Pocket Rocket .I just hope there is a larger version in the works....That and Black Knights from Point Jude.Mr.Gags is always good for few laughs and Saturday was no exception.Again ,the people behind the plugs is what I was impressed with most and none more that the brothers behind Point Jude products.Spent a half an hour chatting :chatter with both, what a pleasure. They have great products too.And did they took care of their customers..:btu: .they had me looking for a buddy who bought a bunch of stuff to come back to the booth for some "thank you" freebies from Point Jude.

Split in late afternoon and stopped by foxwoods again seeing if the hot hand I had last night was still with me.First pull on one dollar slots brought 3 7's.Good for another 1k donation to my kids college fund....never made another pull but headed home to LI and got in home just in time to kiss my two precious angels before they went to bed. They were kind of surprised that Santa left a envelopes under their pillows on Sunday but hey ,there kids,They'll believe anything.
Who said you cant have your cake and eat it too ? :)
