97 Trooper, great in even the softest of sand. Of course its not used in CT sand, there's none to drive on.
(wish I knew how to post a picture, oh well)

Thanks Spec. It's the older sister of your truck that's been around the block.... ;)

Mark - when you reply to a message, on the bottom it says: Attach file: ****box**** and a button saying browse. Hit the browse, find the picture on your machine (600x600 or less please) and hit attach...

Well John, I wish we were hiring. Actually the wife really dislikes the truck, says it's too dam big, so I might have to get rid of it. She wants one of those SUV things........

Swede,
You could pick off those pesky piping plovers (and some real slow wagoneers) going out on Duxbury beach with that bad boy.

that is a sweet truck! my brother has one with the sport pkg Everything from the frame to the Paint job is awesome! very well built.
I liked the land rover because it has an aluminum body and does better around the salt, but the 4 runner is a great choice ! good luck with it.
best Marty
PS always looking for old Lures for my collection!!!!!!!!!!

1996 Jeep Cherokee Sport and yet to see sand... a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

We may actually give the ol' sport one more trip to Nantucket if it lives thru the summer (no problems but my wife drives it so I can't assume).

You guys got some nice fishing buggys.... I have a 1986 Blazer.. Its not pretty but it runs well. It is also great offroad espcially in the soft stuff mud, sand. With the seat folded down i have the cargo area of a small pickup and i can fit 10FT rods in the cabin so it works well for me!

JENN---What's a "tree-fiddy" ???? Inquiring mind wants to know.

F350 see pic above of yellow truck) I know it sure is a step in a very different direction for us but......
I will admit when we sell the old girl I will cry........we wanted something with more space inside , better fuel mileage. Not to mention something with a warranty!
I never thought I would own a rice burner....but two years ago I picked up a toyota corolla for $1000 ....she know has 168,000 miles and still going strong!!!!!! I will never buy anything but a toyota again! sorry but its where its at. and believe me I was a diehard Ford girl (trucks) and Buick (cars) before all this!!!!!

cant wait...we pick the new one up in.......7 hours!!!!

I notice , from watching the news, etc. that all the trucks in Afghan. are Toyotas!!!! If they can keep running there -- they should keep running ANYWHERE!!!!!! :smash: Congratulations Jenn -- on your fine choice!!!   If I'm stuck--on a narrow piece of sand--between you and the birds--it's only because I have an inferior vehicle(not because I'm trying to HOG the fish). Seriously---GOOD LUCK!!!:ss:

Jenn
