You hit it on the head Eben! I made the needles from Woodcraft pen blanks. They only had 3 colors red, black and a tiger stripe brown that I have not turned up yet. They are just the right size for stubby needles and turn nice. Cool patterns to work with.

That squid looks alive. Nice job!
