Just won an Atom 40 for cheap. It doesn't have the stamp on the lip but it has the old body style(blue swirl color). This will be my first atom 40. Just curious if the quality has anything to do with when it was produced. Did they only stamp them for a small period of time? Obviously the truth will come when I swim it.

The heavy rubber ones are better than the new plastic. Great lure, catches big fish, underappreciated.

The ones without lettering are fine.

Bend the eyelet up an bend the lips in on the sides like a beachmaster.Don't know why, thats what I was told an thats how I continue to do it.
