AquaSkinz is coming out with one soon. Saw it at the show. Check with them.

I think the Surfcaster sells them, but they're not cheap. I just slip mine under my surf belt - with the tip covered, of course. It's an elastic-type belt, so it holds the gaff pretty well.

How thick is the handle? You may be able to get a plastic maglight holder like the ones police wear on their belts or something similar. Might try looking through some tactical gear.

I hook mine on a clip that the folks use for climbing. I tape a piece of surgical tubing to the handle and cover the point with it. I have used this system for about 10 years. Oh year and I tape an old telephone receiver cord to the handle and to the clip in case it does fall off.

And he goes jingle jangle down the rocks :D
When I carry a gaff it is for certain spots, I need the reach, I carry a 3ft gaff with a strap from the end of the handle to just before the hook.. I wear it over my shoulder with the gaff covered with a plastic golf ball.. think a quiver of arrows.. It's confortable and easy to get off to use it...
