It was made of plastic, and weighed about 2 ounces. Skitterpop 04-23-2006, 09:20 PM No idea who made it though it has that Stetzko look. I love the design/shapes and the change of colors and choice of color placement....looks real fishy! Have you swam it yet? tlapinski 04-24-2006, 04:39 PM It isn't mine, but I don't think the current owner has swam it. It does look like it may have been tested at one point, though. I thought Stetzko as well, but didn't think he made any in plastic. The hangers look like sinker hangers. t.orlando 04-24-2006, 05:24 PM Thanks for putting up Toby. Swims with a slight wiggle if I remember correctly, been sitting for 8-10yrs. Skitterpop 04-24-2006, 05:32 PM Karl F would know if its a Stetzko....same thoughts here on plastic but I don`t know. Slipknot 04-24-2006, 07:10 PM It looks like the style Tony's dad did needles in for sure, but not sure if he made that. He did make some in some corian scraps that sink like a stone, but I'm not sure he ever did anything like that one in any plastic that weighed in at 2 oz. I can email the pic to Tony jr. and ask him, or Karl may be able to ask him. Do you know how old it is? Karl F 04-24-2006, 07:29 PM I'll ask Tony Jr. tomorrow.. shape, and even the color(s) look like the old man's stuff, I got a wooden one of his, with the same paint. I don't think he did plastic, but, would not be surprised if he did, he made them outta just about everything else. Yeah Slip, them corian ones he made, sinkers for sure, but, they get out over that "second" bar, no problem :hihi: t.orlando 04-24-2006, 07:44 PM Thanks guys, like I said been in possesion for 8-10yrs(dont know how old). Karl, tell Tony Sini's buddy Tony says:wave: Karl F 04-25-2006, 09:03 AM OK... here we go.. Yankee Lure Co. knock off of a Tony Sr. One night, years ago, they was fishing with Jr. and he was nailing them one after other, and they were not, he gave them the lure, they told him they were gonna make a mold of it.. the skinny is, the weighting is "#^&#^&#^&#^&, and don't leave it on the dashboard.. sun will bend it.. they gave him a few for the knock off... Tone says hi to Tony, and sini  t.orlando 04-25-2006, 10:15 AM Thanks Karl, cool story Krispy 04-25-2006, 10:31 AM ill give u $5 Skitterpop 04-25-2006, 04:13 PM 5.99 and a Karl F needle :nopain: Backbeach Jake 04-25-2006, 07:45 PM I was thinking Tony, but the plastic threw me. Something tells me I heard that bit of lore a while back, sounds familiar... Thanks Karl! Karl F 04-26-2006, 09:05 AM Now that tone's studied the picture... Clipped from the email he sent this AM: "hi big k.. sure looks like one of my dads.. thats not a yankee lure company one! would have to be corian or something he turned... he had all kinds of different material in his work shop.. he always looked for different stuffr... like when he found the pen comapny with there exotic woods... paint sure looks like one of his..." t.orlando 04-26-2006, 09:33 AM Thanks, I'll run it by him next time I make it by that way NIB 04-26-2006, 06:53 PM His dad made the coolest stuff. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
