View Full Version : Test swim
Well with gas prices what they are I decided to dunk it in the backyard instead of the ocean. The Weasel sits high in the water at rest. I was a little dissappointed when I slowly moved it across the "pond" as it moved like a stick. But when I gave it a pop it came alive. The wiggle was enough to throw the rear hook.(non crimped open eye) Needless to say the goldfish scattered when I put this thing in with them.:hee: It will be painted next week.
Cranium 04-28-2006, 04:30 AM Dave that looks very very nice.
numbskull 04-28-2006, 05:54 AM I don't know MAC, if you're going to fish that one I think you better change your screen name to Captain Nemo.
ProfessorM 04-28-2006, 09:12 AM Brilliant as usual.
Flaptail 04-28-2006, 09:42 AM Plug looks great. I think I know where you test swam it. It looks like the KOI pond in front of the Peking Palace on Main Street in Falmouth!
:btu:
Krispy 04-28-2006, 10:14 AM what about thinning down the "tail fin". Less weight in the rear to get it moving

Actually it is the goldfish pond in my backyard :)
On thinning the tail, I think I'll wait until I swim this one in some current and see how she does. A thinner tail may lessen the drag and make it swim better. That will be on the next one if the current doesn't help at a crawl.
