Four of the best places I can think of are site sponsors.

http://www.saltwateredge.com/
http://surfcasting-rhodeisland.com/
http://www.capecodtackle.com/
http://www.kingcoveoutfitters.com/

Some plug makers whose plugs can be found at these places:

http://afterhoursplugs.com/
http://www.habscustomplugs.com/
http://www.#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&.com/
http://www.tattoostackle.com/
http://www.surfhoglures.com/

That should get ya started!

The shop owners and plugmakers are some of the finest people around.

If you enjoy topwaters be sure to have at least a few Jumpin Minnows ready to go, especially the bone colored one. You'll enjoy the great satisfaction of being the guy who shows up at a fishing spot, asks if anyone is catching anything, gets an answer of no, and then proceeds to catch fish on almost every cast. It's as close to a magic bullet as you can get.

All your metals being turned down by sBFT? Throw this instead. They fight over it on most days. I had one literally catch it before it hit the water this summer. Maybe it was just a well timed jump where he collided with the plug accidently but I don't think so, it was in his mouth when he came to the boat.

The bonus is it's inexpensive compared to almost anything else. Only downside is it's tough to throw on a heavy surf rod.
