Hey guys, since we use the Gamakatsu bait hooks for sluggos and such, are their treble hooks any good? I know VMC is the standard, but I was wondering if any of you guys used the Gami's on plugs and what you experiences were.

Hey guys, since we use the Gamakatsu bait hooks for sluggos and such, are their treble hooks any good? I know VMC is the standard, but I was wondering if any of you guys used the Gami's on plugs and what you experiences were.

Very sharp but the first time you ding them on a rock you'll never get that point back.

Good hook overall, fairly expensive though. They are strong as well. When they fail, they often break as opposed to bend.

I haven't used them much other then one pack but that was my experience.
