This is a used not abused Calstar 270-8 Tan blank conventional, 8ft...
I bought this a few years ago to fill a niche and it really never got used... it sat all last season un-touched and hate to have it sit again...

Some specs:
8ft 12-30 rating on the blank, I-d say 15-25 is a good rating.. fast action, so it has a soft tip but has some serious balls...
cork-tape handle re-wrapped 2 years ago.

The downsides: the rod is fishable as is, it is missing one guide about 2 down from the tip, but since calstar puts alot of guides on, it never seemed to bother me fishing and never impacted the line.
The epoxy is faded and 'cloudy' a bit, but the blank itself is in good shape. I've fished it and taken bass over 20 on it just never gets used....

What I think it would be good for:
Fluking or lobbing eels from a boat.. If I fished it more I'd keep it but I have enough rods and when I pulled them out of storage for the winter I realzied this one will sit again...

40.00 takes it
Pick up in SoCo/Newport area
I'll try and get pics up tommorow

Vic;
You going to be around this weekend?
Its an 8ft fluke rod, some people like that length, I prefer 7...
as far as trade.....
I need jigs more than plugs... 1.5-4oz
7" Redfins and rebels are always good too...
I have enough dannys, needles, pencils etc... to last a while....
no need to 'pilage' take a peek at what you have for jigs etc.. and PM me, we'll figure something out.....
