thunderbird mail kicks ass and is sleeker and so much better
than most any other mail program i've used ..

been using it for about a month now. I like it, but i can't figure out how to switch profiles without closing the program and restarting it in order to get the "choose user profile" window.

I've been using both Firefox and Thunderbird for close to two years.

IE and Outlook=junk and Netscape is way to big of a production.

is it better than G-mail?

you could use gmail with thunderbird :)
