Is it me or does every weather man have there head up there butt

I had a fishing trip planned for last night, I rushed home from work mowed the acre of lawn in record time then get all my gear ready I sat down before a shower to check the weather and they said thunder and lightning at 9pm in Rhode Island. I will fish in the rain all night long but lightning no way. So now I call and cancel and guess what it didn't happen no rain no thunder and no lighning until this morning.

Bob some heavy cells ran through the ri/ma boarder around 6:30 or so and lasted a few hours. Real nasty stuff they canned the baseball game after the 3rd lightning strike in 10 minutes

I saw plenty of lightning to the far north of where I was fishing.
Yesterday was certainly a bonus as far as the weather was concerned.

Tattoo I don't blame you. I would have at least driven in that direction though.
