Looking for a pool pump and possibly a filter too on the cheap. Trying to get a couple more years out of the above ground pool without putting to much money into it.

I have one with a new motor a year ago, I'll get the info off it and post it. Was on a 24' round pool.

Its a Hayward earth filter.
Works fine.
$100, pick up in RI.

Thanks for the quick reply and the pictures. Do you know what HP it is? I have a 24' too. The old pump was a 2HP, 2 speed.

1.5 HP
I had no problem keeping my 24' round clean with it.
Got rid of the pool.

The GPM of the pump is more important than the HP. Figure it out so you are turning the pool over at least 2X/day.

Filter is about 5-6 years old, motor is 1 year old.

Mugz, go for it. I just finished a double shift and am about to start another one. My wife couldnt wait and went and bought a new one. $$$ Now gonna have to work more OT to pay for it. lol
