View Full Version : Pretty Much Free: Coleman Stainless Grill
spence 05-24-2006, 06:29 PM This is a Coleman 3000 series grill I bought several years ago. It's in good working condition aside from the automatic starter not working...it's easy to light with a match. I've never tried to fix the starter, so it might not be that big of a deal.
Was 500 bucks new, now pretty much free. It does not come with the LP tank, but takes the standard size.
Only thing I'd ask is you chip in 25 bucks or a few plugs for the cast iron grates I just bought last week :)
Polish the stainless steel outside and it looks great, sure to impress friends and neighbors :tooth:
Grill is located in Tiverton...you pick up.
thanks,

how is the condition of the burner bud ,cause I cant seem to make one last more than a year and was going to just buy a new burner for 20-25 bucks, but now that yours came up :tooth: ..where... in Tiv do you live cause I'm in FR ............ thanx bud
spence 05-24-2006, 07:33 PM This is the second burner so it's in good shape. The burner has a 10 year warranty, so you can get another (for just the shipping) if it dies within the next 5 years. I can give you the purchase info/receipt or I can call them myself if there's any issue...

tattoobob 05-27-2006, 06:20 PM We went to Home Depot and bought a Weber, I could not spend $1000.00 on a grill the $400.00 was enough
Squid kids Dad 05-27-2006, 06:26 PM Bob..For the money its a good choice
spence 05-27-2006, 09:05 PM For the 400-500 dollar range you can't beat the Weber, it's a proven contender...
The Vermont Castings are still pretty solid, although I don't have as much trust in them as I used to.
You certainly don't need to spend a grand to get a good grill, but the warranty on the top stuff is pretty nice.
The unit I just bought has lifetime on all stainless components, which is like 98% of the grill...I hope this will last me for some time.
