Who's going to Norwich this weekend. The annual Thames River Bass Tournament is this weekend. I live in Norwich and work for the local paper (The Norwich Bulletin) and hope to see all of you fishheads show up. I want the prizes to stay with me though:D

they need to make the entrance fee more reasonable. and why would they almost double the entrance fee if you don't pre-register? it's no wonder they have a low turnout. the ct river tourney is more reasonable.

While I fish there all winter long and have a pretty good idea where the big ones might be, I'm not paying to kill fish. I've got a boat and with my luck winning a new one isn't likely to happen anyway :). To bad they don't have it during the dead of winter, I'd enter that one for sure and kick *ss.

in my opinion, the thames should be closed to striper fishing in the winter. i've seen too many "anglers" snag fish they were trying to catch in the river. now, we have charter boats in the winter fishing. wonderful.

go to ctriverstripers.com . they have info on the river and tourney. also, go to ccact.com
