Well, some of you may have seen my posts over the last couple of days, I have just found this board and it's verry usefull.
If anyone is thinking of building a mobile herring unit for the comming season (It's not really comming it's here ) visit your local carwash and ask them if they have any old drums, they use the plastic 55 galon drums for the soap and they are perfect. Just wash them out well add your air system and go. I use the drum whole and lay it on its side in a stand in the truck but if your a boater just cut it in half then cut the top off the the part your not using and with a rubber seal around the outside edge it acts as a lid and holds well (screw some small wooden blocks around the inside of the drum@ 2" below the lip so the lid does not fall in.
