You probably don't want to rent a party boat but might need to split the party up into 2 boats. I know boats (and sponsors here) that could arrange something like that more towards Boston but not sure on the Cape... Might be hard arrange two boats in 2+ weeks to fish as pairs...

Cape guys?

Bear in mind....any charter Captain is going to want you and your party to go easy on the booze.....provided he lets you bring any on at all.

if you all want to fish on the same boat, you'll have to find a boat that is licensed to carry that many people. most charter boats are limited by law to six passengers at max, but some are licensed to carry more.

i would go the party boat route. i have done several bachelor parties on fluke boats, including my bachelor party. good fun. bring fish back, fry 'em up, take a nap, then bring the 'entertainment' in, or head to the local ballet.

thanks for the suggestions.. i think my buddys dad and uncles will be bailing now, so mostly likely it looks like we'll be looking for a charter for 6.. i have to confirm with him though.. once i have a definite, pretty sure we are looking for a 6 hour morrning trip for bass.. we are all in sandwich but will go anywhere around the cape.. any recommendations for a good captain who gives the best chance to get into fish, what locations should we be looking for - i hear Wasque is good this time of year, price, etc.. any info helps. thanks.
