What's up with the leaders???? They have more than one fish in their top ten that were under 20#!!!

Did S-B set a minimum length fish to weigh in?

We are loosely going the same road because when it is all said and done a team will need far more than 10 30 pounders to take the whole thing. So from a team standpoint, no need to put more than that in.

However, from an individual standpoint, someone fishing for angler of the year could conceiveably use more of the fish...

For us, 30#s is a guideline I guess...

A chance to win:

realistically I think we have to lower the pounds to 15# minimum to have a shot at winning. This will most likely not be a popular idea but its only a suggestion.

I think the top 5 teams will all have at least 10 30# pound fish weighed in by the end. I also think the top anglers will all have 5 30# fish weighed in at the end as well, with most being boat guys. So I really don't feel 15# fish will count in either case - I might be wrong but I just don't see anyone doing it with 15 or even 20 pound fish...

by the end of August, I think it would take more than 35# to crack the top ten on this team. No way do I feel we should lower our minimum, rather my post was to show my surprise at those fish even being weighed in by a club with some respected names.....
It's only the end of the first quarter.

no need to shoot you skitter, you are still in shock about what Karl said about the plovers:wall:

I guess I feel kinda bad that I didn't keep and weigh in that 30 I got 2 weeks ago :hidin: I had a 25 this AM but let her swim away to grow bigger also.

next time out I guess.

I personaly don't think I could consider the individual year long for 10 fish since I don't fish enough, but it would be fun trying.
