tattoobob 06-13-2006, 11:00 AM 15 Striped bass 12 inches to 14 inches long :smash: I did have an unbelievable hit that took drag then dropped it. then I wasted to much time in that spot I should have stuck to the plan.
the water was tea brown still and the crap coming down from up stream
is just sad,
JohnR 06-14-2006, 09:00 AM I've been getting some low 20 pounders but that's it so far :smash: (and not many of them)
Mike P 06-14-2006, 09:40 AM Weigh one in. I sort of promised myself I'd weigh in nothing under 25, but if that Westport gang passes us, my resolve goes out the window :D
I've eaten at least 30 points worth of fish without weighing them in. Kinda dumb if your fish is 34" or better and you're going to keep it anyway :wall:
JohnR 06-14-2006, 11:13 AM I have been wondering, if we limit 30 pounds on the team side (as ten 30 pounders likely won't be enough when all said and done) will we be doing those particpating for S-B a disservice when it comes to total individual points??
Mike P 06-14-2006, 01:06 PM I know T. Orlando weighed in a 35. Are our other 86 points all from 30+ fish? Mathematically, it would almost have to be two 40+ fish.
If people have already weighed in fish under 30, doesn't make sense to limit it now.

One weighed in a 20 something, as did Clammer, and Nibutastic got a thirty for the team - I have yet to weigh in any of my 20# fish as I'm not shooting for high honors but for the team and for OTW to create an 80 Pound Pin :hihi:
tattoobob 06-14-2006, 02:39 PM Now as the points go up and bigger fish get caught don't the smaller fish get dropped off the board? I kinda thought it to be that way, meaning if you already have 10 fish weighed and someone weighs a 40 pounder the smallest fish goes to the wayside.

I thought the same thing

Yep - which from a team perspective winning probably means at least 10 30 pounders for the team. But for an individual award a lot of fish might help...

Yeh but in the end, those fish won't count. I've had several in the low 20# range that I have not weighed in even though right now they would benefit us - we'd be in second place if I entered fish in like MV and probably first if every 20 pounder members have caught went in...

Team Rock On 06-18-2006, 07:26 AM Subtract the fish less than 30 and the leader only has 100 lbs. I weighed a 30 in today so we should be up around 100 lbs. of 30+ fish.

A little editing and things look a little closer. I don't see any harm weighing a smaller fish if you're keeping it regardless, a 20 pound fish added to John's 80 would equal 2 fifties.
