I was fishing in Newport last night no striper but I saw some squid.
I did not have any luck with them.
Squid was not hooking on the jigs .
Does any one know why???

I was fishing during the day .Not that many people around me;) .About the jigs yes I made them myself, white coat hanger and glue stick , that was secret of some oldtimer . It works better than ten dollar ones . You're right they are my favorite ones too . Try with red tape around white ones . It works awesome.:p
