Dweezil Zappa's tribute to dads music was well recieved at Boston's Orpheum theater last night . 6/13/06 The crowd was mixed young and old 50/50 I'd say . Past "Mothers" Napoleon Murphy Brock , Terry Bozzio, and Steve Vai really shined with Napoleon leading the way, fronting the band with Vocals, sax and flute. "The Black Page" written by Zappa for Bozzio's drums was sick along with another end of the night solo by Bozzio . Dweezil really looked taken back by the crowds response to the band. (Boston loved Zappa).. Dweezil often traded chops on guitar back and forth with Vai. You done Frank proud boy . set list included Zombie Woof, Inca Roads, Saint Elfonso's Pancake Breakfast, I might be moving to Montana Soon, some Roxy and Eleswhere stuff .. Eat a hot dog one .. Village of the sun ..older . Lets Make the Water Turn Black. alot more .. show started at 8:00pm and ended close to midnight. In my youth I never missed a Zappa show at the Orpheum or the Music Hall (now Wang).. The show will give me just some more good memories those slow fishing nights . Dweezil ... see you next year
