I was able to sneak away for a couple of hours to Chepiwanoxet this afternoon to try my luck. I caught 4, all on clamworms (all 27" and smaller.) Nothing else seems to be working there right now. Folks were trying, chunks, flies, clams and jigs but none were having any luck. Not sure what a live herring would produce there, I'll have to give it a try sometime. Two hours prior to sunset seems to be the best time.

Fished there on Sunday. The place was loaded with 12" fish. It was almost like fishing for snapper blues.
As usual, the fish were there last week. Chunks were the preferred bait.
Must be that this weeks low, high tide didn't entice the fish to move.
