This weekend, I put two small gouges in the upper part of my hull. What is the easiest and most effective way to fix this. Should I just epoxy it, or is there a better method. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Did it get through the glass into the foam core, or is it just through the gelcoat into the glass matting? Can you post a pic? MTC 06-20-2006, 05:07 AM What color is the hull. You should be able to Jel-Coat match it. A deep scratch may take 2-3 coats. MakoMike 06-20-2006, 06:52 AM Just go to West Marine or Boater's world and buy yourself a gel coat repair kit. Read the instructions before you start! :laughs: jmonte45 06-20-2006, 08:47 PM I got a fiberglass repair kit. I put one coat on already.
