Thats what is keeping all the good INS out of here, the State set the rates. that seems contrary to the American way... free enterprise has been totally squelched.... paying 1400 bucks a year .... :liquify: I'm sure some of you are paying more it's time again to throw some massachusetts tea overboard :af: redneck24 07-01-2006, 01:16 PM not the gecko! :( MakoMike 07-01-2006, 02:29 PM GEICO sucks! Used to have them and they ain't worth it. They won't pay a claim and even if they don't pay you a cent, they will drop you or raise your rates. You really don't save money with them, sure their rates are cheaper but you wind up paying in other ways. Surfcastinglife 07-02-2006, 01:46 AM 1400 a year? consider yourself lucky! i've had my own car since i was 18 (3 years now) i pay 2900 a year, never had an accident or a ticket! WOH... what are you driving?:whackin: Swimmer 07-03-2006, 10:40 AM Geico cannot sell insurance in Massachusetts because they refuse to open an office where people can come in to do business or grieve a claim. Like Makomike said they dont like to pay. Well who do you argue with if they dont have a local office?:rtfm: Skip N 07-03-2006, 08:53 PM 1400 a year? consider yourself lucky! i've had my own car since i was 18 (3 years now) i pay 2900 a year, never had an accident or a ticket! Damn what ya driving? I bought a new Xterra at 23 and was only paying around 1300, now 3 years later, i'm down to about 900-1000Unless you have a brand new car at your young age, you shouldn't be paying close to 3 grand a year.
