Hi all,

Been awhile sine I've been on. My wife and I bought a new boat (Wellcraft 290) this spring and the weather is finally cooperating <ggg>.

We are heading from home port (Jamestown) to Cutty this afternoon to spend a few days "hangin". Can some one offer a fishing report from that area. I plan on havin some eels and a bunch of 7" black sluggos on board, and was wondering if buzzards would be a better choice than further south down around the vineyard.

By the way I know the bite is (at least has been) better in our own back yard - but the wife wants to go to cutty - so off we go <ggg>

Ahh...how close do I dare to go? The problem is the new boat has not a scratch on it. Damn I hate to get it dirty!

Maybe I should just run it into a sand bar and scratch it up a bit. Then I wouldn't worry about it anymore.....

What Clammer said. Someone to keep you off the beach/bricks and an angler drifting eels back from the shore. We had guys casting beond Clammer in the pitch dark, before he even knew they were there!

.............and we hit less rocks than we do in the broad daylight in Narragansett Bay............Just keep a sharp lookout for the lobster pots, I don't think you wife would be happy pulling them out of the props:uhoh:
