Where is the best place along the Rhode Island coast to catch the herring run? Tides? Day or night? Thanks:happy:

at just about any stream that flows from a pond or lake to saltwater in the state. seems i always see more on the falling tide in the dark

Welcome to S-B... Gilbert Stuart is good in No Kingstown... I'm sure there are more closer to you. Just make sure you have a freshwater permit and you can't take herring on Sun, Mon, & Tuesdays...
