Sorry for the pop-up, it's been a while since I've been on site. Thanks for the email reminding me what a great site this is. Things have been so busy for me with work and now the fishing Academy's summer program that I really haven't had the time to hit the surf. Hope everyone is having a good & safe season so far, but don't worry I still get to use my gear every once and a while...............This one's for you Kadir

Thanks guys & Ya, I was trying to keep my cool. My brother had a pig roast at his house on the Cape and there were so many girls, but thats another story. The Sponge Bob rod was found by a friend of mine who gave it to me. Since then I have taken it every where trying to catch all kinds of fish on it. My biggest fish so far was a 17lb carp. It's caught flounder and skates, schoolies, largemouth bass up to 4lbs and even some girls. It's my new little fishing buddy & the kids at the academy treat it like it's another person. Anyone looking for some thing new to get into and lots of fun get your self one of these little rods. It gets addicting after a bit. Don't change the line or try to mess with just use it as it comes.....They do cast a mile

Here's a clip of the drag on that little rod from my site:

Roy,

I gotta tell ya, I missed this and I don't know how:confused: but thankfully another of our fellow members saw and it and gave me the heads up:kewl: .

4 words: You are da man:musc: !

I can't say that picture is going on the Gallery on the AquaSkinz site but it is definitely going on the wall of the AquaSkinz office:heybaby: :bl: :bl:

Also, that picture is our winner for picture of the month:kewl: so you will be getting a few goodies for it.

Keep up (he, he, he) the good work Roy:btu: :lm: :laugha:. Love the new custom rod too :rotf3:

Nope no changes, Wanted to keep it as it came. Kind of defeats the purpose if I change it I think. I have had some guys tell to put braid on it, but because the rod tip is incased in plastic I think the braid would just cut into it. They come equipt with 8lb test, but I think it's more like 10. The rods are indestructable & the drag is just funny...Lots of fun
