Yup---June 28 is the latest fish I see up there.

And we have a nice cushion on the clubs in 4th and 5th.

They probably only come by the weigh stations to pick up slips once a week--if they come by at all. More likely, the shops mail them in.

Man, if I had only signed up a week earlier instead of just before Cutty.

I would have had a 27.5 on a saturday and one on the following Monday that was probably 25 to throw up there......Lesson Learned.....don't Procrastinate

I have a 27 not up there either and Clammer has a 25 to go up and there are a couple others (I think) missing...

Not sure if I should say anything yet but I just was notified that S-B is in second place - Guess it's good to be named Tony

Wait until you see the list...

OK, the 10th fish for Team S-B is now 27.65 pounds, my 27 pounder never made the official list I guess.

So fish under 30 pounds will certainly help individual standings of those fishing for S-B but will not influence the team standings.

great work everyone  - Especially if you are named Tony :buds:

Yup, same here. Looks like nothing under 30 is gonna hit the scale for me. Maybe 35 at the rate we're going.

But, that doesn't mean that a nice 34" fish won't hit the frying pan ;)

The fact that I have some in the freezer is another factor that saved that fishes life. :D

I guy I know once said that the next Fish I catch after I fill the freezer is the Luckiest S.O.B. in the world.

That's why I like keeping the 12-15 pounders for the table. I get just enough meat (trim away all of the belly meat) for two fresh meals for me and the wife. Don't like to freeze it. Keeping that 25 on Saturday gave me more meat than I could use, so I gave half to our next-door neighbor.

My preference for the low teeners has nothing to do with taste or texture. That 25 is one of the best tasting bass I've had in awhile. Just getting the most efficient, and waste-free, use of a fish.
