We are down to fourth now, and getting no help from me. Are any of you guys having the same problem as flaptail? Would you weigh in anything over 32.5 at this moment or are you guys so good that we can cruise along until the middle of Sept., glance at the standings and just start weighing in the pigs you've been catching all along? It is my dream to catch just one fish for the team. Flap made me feel like an idiot for having that dream. I don't know how I feel about this tournament now, feeling stupid for wanting a weighable fish so bad when people are happy to pony up their money and throw back 30's and 40's...

Actually - I think you are more likely to be successful if your name is Tony - 80% Tony - 20% everything else...

BUS - I have not been out much lately - sick and working on the boat...

It will be tough to win as the predomineantly boat guy teams have a significant edge... Doesn't mean we can't ;) but if the minimum is a 32# fish and you get a 33 than you are only raising the point total by a pound...

I think I raised it by a whopping .1 pound this morning

I wanted a fish for dinner so I figured, what the hell. 32.6 officially.

47" long, empty stomach. :hs:

Ah the bus stop.I was just checkin the tides for next weekend an makin a gameplan. When it gets a little cooler tonite i will start on the jigs.
It is so easy for me to fish there all night by just visiting a few spots an a few DD.I love this time of yr.nobody fishes.Maybe u see one or 2 in few spots an a few of flap's ghost's.I swear u get up there by the cribbn an it gets pretty spooky at 3 am.

You want spooky, try the Cape side between the bridges

Uh, not the bus stop. ;)

The bus stop is more of a time then a place.U know the drill. It took me a while of tryin to get that extra tick of the bottom throwin 5-6 onces to figure it out.A few yrs ago i got a decent one out of there an JP goes to me I bet u got it at this time.I was like ya how did u know. thats the bus stop when the tide slows enough so u can fish it.
Ya, I don't even like the cape side between the bridges in the daytime. Some spots i would like to fish there on a low tide.I know thats where flap likes to fish.
Don't get me going.I hate that ghost crap.It seems i spook more an more easily as I am getting older.
I know there's a fifty huggin the bottom in there this time of yr.
I would love one of those on a jig.My dream fish, 4 kts, battle of a lifetime.Get em to me on the rocks an jam my arm thru its mouth an grab it's gillplate big.Mount it, an then take it to the taxidermy.
