(a tank). thanks mar t P.s born and raised in quincy jettyjockey18 05-12-2002, 07:15 PM a freshwater license will only get you herring at the state owned runs (such as watertown)...the rest of the runs are primailry maintained by the individual towns and require town issued permits (such as middleboro, wareham, bourne, etc.)...by now, i would think that nonresident permits are probably not available for most of the town runs... I think I went through the same rigamarole last year as well. Once again, answering my own question, I now have changed my name.
