Bright eyed Admiral spy's "Birds Working"!
Big flock of Gannetts diving on Squid alongside the #4 Ship Channel buoy NW of Cuttyhunk.
Rigged Casting Rods with Saltheart & Smokey White Bucktail Jigs, No Pork.
First Cast Admiral get's a Bluefish about 6 pounds(Good Eating Size)
Then came as many Bass as anyone could want. 22 inch class, every cast for a half hour, two rods going steady.
Just as fast the fish disapearred and birds set on water. We put the rods away and steamed for New Bedford. Saw another half dozen pods of diving birds up till Fort Rodman.
Great first day out.

The Admiral requested that place as a "Lunch Spot". Nothing doing there.
Borges Bruce picked one near his lobster pots the other day but the others don't even have rods on yet!
Besides, there isn't any fish there anyway.

Squids in the Pond and twinkies also!
