Just some more details to keep folks in the loop as to the bash. For those who are not familiar with the Plugger’s bash, we started this two years ago. It’s a chance for the plug builders of the site to get together, meet and greet, talk plugage, swap plugage, ho plugage, etc. As in the past years, the bash is limited to those to are builders who frequent the site.

We’ll be holding the 2006 Plugger’s Bash in Westerly, RI on Saturday, September 30. Bernzy and his posse rent a condo there every year right on the beach and have graciously offered to let us hold the bash there. For those who need directions, please PM Bernzy and he can give you the details. He also has info on hotels in the area for those who will be staying in the area.

We figure on getting things underway around 10:30 AM that morning and wrapping up around 2:30 that afternoon. That should give folks time to hit the morning bite before the bash and get situated in their hotels after the bash. Most of us will also be fishing that evening/night. We’ll set up a meeting time/place during the bash. Several folks have already offered to act as “guides” and show non-locals a few of the local haunts. These will most likely be the better known areas as we do not expect “guides” to be giving away all their “spots”.

We’ll have a grill set up at the bash for those who want to burn some flesh. Since the condo is right there on the water, there is ample opportunity to swim plugs or have people demonstrate how to work various plugs. Other plug building related demos are possible and will likely be conducted.

The previous bashes have been a lot of fun. Always great to meet some of the other loonies that you talk to online throughout the year. This year’s bash promises to be even better! Hope to see a bunch of you there. To get an idea of how many people will be there, please reply here so we can get a head count.

Ummm, are we there yet :smash:

Sorry, I cannot, in all good conscience, honor that promise. You see, I have no NIB plugs, therefore, I am obligated to ho at least one :lm:

Don't worry Slip, if NIB or Timber play bad stuff, I'll take over the tunage  Hmmm, will Bernzy have big enough speakers to play that stuff at the correct volume levels :tooth:

I just want to confirm that the Bash is from 10:30 - 2:30 or so? I just don't weant to overlap a different S-B event at the same time as the bash - look forward to meeting you !~

Thanks,

John

I want to go and will be in the area unless my wife rescinds my permission. If some one could call my cell sat am with directions I'll show otherwise I'll spend all morning following fishermen with giant plug bags off the beach.
