I am going stir crazy with the new baby, and the wife gave me the green light to start taking a few night trips... RI – NARRAGANSETT BAY – WEST PASSAGE – Bridge Demolition – Bridge demolition work continues at the old Jamestown Bridge at mile 5.7, acrossNarragansett Bay (West Passage) at North Kingstown, Rhode Island. The main navigation channel is now free of debris and partially open to limited vessel traffic. Materials barges and crane barges are working at various locations. The Coast Guard has established a temporary 300 foot channel extending 150 feet from each side of the centerline of the main channel. The channel is marked with green buoys on the west side and red buoys on the east side. Mariners should exercise extreme cautionwhile transiting the area.
