I am heading to Sarasota for 18 - 21 of August. Any advice on fishing that area? Not really looking for a guide trip thing. I would rather just give the bridges a shot or something along those lines. Thanks. :kewl:

when I've gone south my surf fishing ahs been limited... BUT...
small bucktails and kastmaster type stuff, yellow is always good for the bucktails... light wire leaders it seems everyone down there has choppers!

oh and get some bluefish rigs and chunk a beach at dusk... blacktips, lemons, nurse sharks... 2-5ft... lots of fun on lighter tackle....
