I know that the flourocarbon (Seagur) stuff is popular with the shore guys and the livebait fishing. But how about when dragging a tube-n-worm, or umbrella rig? At close to $30.00 for a 25 yard spool of 60-80lb stuff, is it a worth while investment? To go even further, how about using it as the leads for the umbrella rig?
Thanks....

Charter boats use strictly mono leaders with great sucess so I would say not worth the extra cost for trolling.

I say spend the dough on 100 yards of 80 lb Jinkai or however you spell it. Don't waste $ on flouro for that application.

Its the only mono I have on my boat rods. Made in Japan? Realy limp and low stretch.
