Squid kids Dad 08-09-2006, 08:33 PM Yup He's stll there tho..Advisor to the owner....To bad ownership wouldnt change,,To much money in the consesions tho Mike P 08-09-2006, 09:06 PM Never saw a guy get so much mileage out of one lousy Cup--especially a guy who should have won a bunch in a row :rollem:  afterhours 08-10-2006, 06:15 AM you said it mikep!!! pops02 08-10-2006, 04:17 PM Harry was great for the Bruins. He was one of the few GM'S/PRESIDENT that actually tried to keep salary's down, instead of overpaying like the Rangers did, and alot of other teams. If more teams followed Harrys lead, i dont think there would have been a lock out last year. IMO, the lockout is going to hurt the NHL for a long time. Harry had a great hockey career, from winning a silver medal with team Canada at Squaw valley in 1960, to coaching team Canada to a come from behind, down 3-1 deficit to win the summit series against team USSR, Harry did it all, Hall of famer, his name on the stanley cup, and likes to fly fish for the striped ones, in Barnstable Harbor. Im glad hes still with the organization afterhours 08-10-2006, 04:30 PM methinks it was jacobs who kept the salaries down not harry. and i agree if other owners followed suit the league would be in much better shape. BBJ for GM of the B'S, :claps: CAL 08-11-2006, 08:44 PM Happy day for Bruins fans?
