Went to the "T" and it was much closer to 3 - 5. For the first time I actually got sea sick. No puking but very uncomfortable.
I did however land my first BlueDog of the season. Estimated to 10' :wiggle: :wiggle: :wiggle: :wiggle: :wiggle: :wiggle:

We slogged thru alot of crap today around the Vineyard. 5 mph wind yea right. Someone should fire those guys I could forecast my own wx better. We had places where there were good 3-4'ers and mostly 1-2' Vineyard slop all day

I took the boat down to the launch and turned around and went home. These guys should be shot! Between the weather and tons of turnout and lack of parking I said to hell with it!

Cape Cod Bay was no bargin this morning. Rain was so hard I couldn't see past the bow for an hour and the wind was at least 20 plus. I was happy to make it back to Barnstable. They said 1/2 in. of rain. The roads were flooded on the drive down 6A. We were in the dog pound all morning too.

Went out last weekend on my uncle's boat(24' WA) to do some diving, forecast looked ok, drank some coffee on the way to the ramp. Another cup on the way out, hmmm bluefish all over the place and nobody fishing. Must be some bass mixed in. :gu: Left the harbor and 2-3' seas, ok. Not to bad. Get on location and now 3-4' seas building with the occasional 5' over the transom. Well, we'll stick it out. Find our wreck on the fishfinder.....after putting around awhile.......:yak:
and all the way back. :yak6: Bluefish still all over with nobody on them but to sick to fish. :yak5:

The buoys don't lie. I like the Montauk buoy myself, it's usually very telling as to what you'll find in RI Sound.

The NWS guys should check out their own website sometime, their short term forecasts would be much more accurate...

I was looking at the Buzzards Bay tower on the sight you recommended and @ 90 degrees it shows an Island. Is that Block Island?...putting the entrance tower just South West of the Island?
Thanks..
